Data Centers
Equinox Engineering has expanded its expertise to include data center projects, offering comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for this rapidly growing sector. The company excels in delivering tailored solutions for data centers, focusing on innovative design, meticulous engineering, and efficient project execution. A notable example is their involvement in a USA-based project featuring a 15 MW IT load data center with liquid cooling, smart power management, and Tier III certification.
Carbon Capture
Equinox has extensive experience in carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) projects, having completed designs for facilities capable of capturing millions of tonnes of CO2 annually. Notable projects include the South East Australia CCS, designed to capture 1.7 million tonnes per year, and the Moomba CCS project in South Australia. Equinox provides full-spectrum services from concept and FEED studies to detailed engineering and construction support for CCS initiatives worldwide.
Power Generation
Equinox has significant experience in power generation, co-generation, and waste heat recovery systems. The company has designed and installed power solutions for remote facilities, including the Kakwa Gas Processing Complex with 21 MW of onsite generation and waste heat recovery. Equinox also specializes in integrating power generation with gas processing facilities, as demonstrated in the Glacier project featuring 15 MW of natural gas generators.
Water Treatment
We offer comprehensive water handling and treatment expertise with experience spanning a wide range of water treatment solutions such as lime softening, ion exchange softening, evaporation, reverse osmosis, advanced oxidation, thermal vapor recompression, and thermal distillation. Projects include the Debolt Treatment Facility, designed to process 16,000 m3/d of inlet sour produced water, and the Burstall Brine Pond project, involving design and construction of two 500,000-barrel brine ponds with advanced leak detection.
